Custom Carport Reinforcement for Florida Storm Preparation
The Stay Put Removable Cable Tie Down System™, also called RCTS™, is a proprietary hardware system designed to reinforce key connection points on existing aluminum carports. It combines permanent stainless-steel mounting hardware with removable cable assemblies that can be installed as part of your storm-preparation plan.

The RCTS™ system creates dedicated lower and upper attachment points on an existing aluminum carport. When storm preparation is needed, removable stainless-steel cable assemblies connect between those points to provide added structural reinforcement.
The system consists of three primary product components.
RCTS™ base plates are permanently installed near the bottom of the carport posts and anchored into the existing concrete slab. These low-profile stainless-steel plates provide the lower connection point for the removable cable assemblies while remaining out of the way during normal use.

RCTS™ beam brackets are permanently fastened near the carport’s existing support posts. They create the upper connection point for each cable assembly and integrate with the aluminum support framing.

The RCTS™ removable cable assembly connects the base plates and beam brackets during storm preparation. Each assembly uses stainless-steel cable, quick links, and hand-adjustable turnbuckles to make installation, tightening, removal, and storage straightforward.

STAY PUT STORM SOLUTIONS™ provides site inspection, custom engineering, and professional installation of the Stay Put Removable Cable Tie Down System™.
Our team evaluates the existing carport, determines the appropriate system configuration, installs the permanent mounting components, and helps ensure your custom RCTS™ system is ready for planned storm preparation.
Your RCTS™ system is priced by the linear foot of cable, with all brackets, anchors, and hardware included.
Because every aluminum carport has a different size, layout, and reinforcement requirement, each STAY PUT Removable Cable Tie Down System™ is configured specifically for the structure where it will be used.
